Advice needed:
Hi, I received "Ready for Visa" email on Jan 13th(Friday), I have submitted my passport, picture and Annex A along with return mail to Ottawa on Jan 15th, IRCC has received my mail on 17th.. there has not been any change on my application profile(I am expecting decision made, approved and closed).. I am not too worried about this time line..

However, I received exact same "Ready for Visa" PPR email again yesterday(1 week after the initial one) but with a new date i.e Jan 20.

Is it normal? Or a glitch on IRCC's part?

Appropriate any advice/similar experiences....

Hello friend,

Same with me too. I got the email twice, one was on 13-Jan-2017 and another yesterday. I am yet to submit my documents.

I am submitting following documents, passport of mine and my wife, 2 photos for each of us, completed annexA, prepaid envelope (1 is letter size and another one is small size).

1. Do I need to submit my PostGraduateWorkPermit document or no need for it?
2. Just curious, the smaller size envelope is for the CIC to send my passport back to me with the confirmation of PR documents. Am I correct?

No Boss .... the wait stops only once get the PR card! :D Till then its only 1 stage after another and believe me PPR itself is a milestone achieved!

I'd be celebrating if I were you, or more importantly, looking for opportunities at this stage.

Cheers!

No, they will keep checking on canadavisa.com on whether they are fulfilling residence obligation until they got citizenship, then worry if they are on some sort of terrorist watch list that CSIS is watching them and could revoke their citizenship
