Hi,

I create my express entry profile in March 2020 with a score of 453. I got married in December 2020 but forgot to add this information in my express entry profile since I wasn't actively tracking the profile. My score before marriage was 453 and after marriage is 437.

I received NOI from Ontario in 16Feb 2021 Tech Draw with a score of 453 but just because my new information after marriage wasn't updated.

How should I proceed from here? Should I not apply on ONIP e-filing portal knowing about the discrepancy?
Is there a way around this problem?

Best regards

Just apply in the oinp portal as married and change ee profile to spouse accompanying once you get the 600 points. Lots of people have done that.

Thanks for your response.

There are certain more points to this:

1. Right after getting the NOI, I updated my EE profile to add spouse information mentioning spouse accompanying. Does that weaken my case in any way?

2. OINP application asks for CRS score. Should I mention 453 or 437? (I believe 437)

3. My profile is expiring on 10th March and I am planning OINP application submission some time after that date. I will create a new one instantly. Will this new profile number be the one that I share on OINP application?
