I have received the offer letter from Holgers Construction Company (103St NW Edmonton, Alberta, Canada) as Project Manager

The company has offer CAD 19,280 per month plus housing and transportation allowance plus air fare include my family

further offer 34 four bonus per year,34 sick leave and free education for kids

In offer they also included Labour Market Impact Assessment Application, Business number also mentioned

Are you sure they offered you 19280 CAD Pm, which in trun 231,000 CAD yearly.. thats a lot like way way too lot..and on top of it Housing allowance also this seems to be way to much for a Construction company Project manager..
Too high too be true.. unless it is for CEO / VP role for a mid size company...

When i googled for holgersconstruction.com no site turns up in google..

The website exists but was only created in September a usual sign that it has been cloned and is fake. Whomever created the website included a map of Montreal yet the company is supposedly based in Edmonton. Plus as you say a salary of that magnitude plus housing, transport and flights for sure is not real for a project manager role

Received also the same job offer from this company. Search there address and it is quite sketchy.

It's a scam.
 
Everyone is correct. They are fake and sending email using one recruitment company too. They have sent me email from ID "care@storkrecruiters.com ".
Both companies are fake and they are working as professionals. I will suggest everyone to not give any details to them. They are fake and trying to take advantage of this pandemic.

Dear All,

I would like to inform you that there are plenty of fake companies sending phishing/spam/fake/forgery emails to provide overseas jobs. I have received the same from Stork Recruiters recently and I did below checks before sending any details to them:-

1. Check company website domain creation date for both Recruiter and employer. ( I found both created 2 months ago only)
2. Check content of the websites to identify cloning. Eg. :- Copy any paragraph from site and search it in google search engine, possibly you will find same on other site too.
3. Check contact person on LinkedIn. (It doesn't prove it's fake but give you basic idea of the company and it's people)
4. Call them if you feel it's necessary to confirm above 2 points. (I found both calls connected directly to contact person, without any extension)
5. They will ask you for Legal Fee and give you assurance that rest all expenses will be paid by employer.
6. Believe on your instincts too. ( I used mine).

I received offer from "Stork Recruiters" for "Holgers Construction". Both are from Canada and Fake. If you are smart then you will be able to trace it easily on their websites. I found one and in few hours they corrected that error. So, I'll not mention other mistakes.

Generally all job offers for construction/hotel/oil/gas are fake job offers and even more so if they offer any one of accommodation/flights/food.

Also keep in mind that with COVID there are many residents looking for jobs so very unlikely much international recruitment happening which is not good news for scammers or dodgy recruitment companies outside of Canada
 
Holgers and Arup.com have the below text in common. Fake in my opinion.

Holgers: "Holgers Construction is an independent firm of designers, planners, engineers, architects, consultants,and technical specialists who work across every aspect of the built environment today."

Arup: "Arup is an independent firm of designers, planners, engineers, architects, consultants and technical specialists, working across every aspect of today’s built environment."
 
Got a similar offer with about 16k per month after a mediocre interview was done as well. I was just check out if anyone else had similar experience. Thanks guys. TC
