Received ITA but passport expires in August

Hey guys, I have received ITA and been preparing documents. However my passport(Korea) expires in August. My plan was to submit all documents in a week and receive AOR this month.

What should I do??

What should I do??

I suggest you get a new passport because by the time your application is approved, you'll have maybe a month or two left on your passport. CIC requires a minimum of 6 months validity and in some cases, one year. Get a new passport and update CIC with the new info.

how soon will it take to get your passport renewed? If the time frame is short enough and you feel it can be done within the allotted time to submit your PR application, then i'll suggest you go for that. this will avoid unnecessary pressure and delay later on. If not, you'll have to submit your application first and then go about renewing your passport and then raising a CSE form online to update your application with the new passport info
