Received email from CIC that my EE application is updated

Just few minutes before I have received email from CIC that my EE application is updated but when I log in in my CIC account than nothing was changed or updated. Everything is same.
Please comment.

even it happened for me...in my point of view , your file is getting accessed by someone in CIC end. whats is your timeline and point?

The same happened to me right now. It is normal to receive these emails from time to time without any apparent change in the profile, it's just some internal processing in the CIC system.
