So I sent my application in Oct 2015 and I received my application back just for not writing job bank code.

Are any of you getting this applications back for bogus reasons please share ?

Yes, Some people are reporting that there applications have been returned for such vague reasons. I think the best You can do is to send them the application back after correcting the reason.
But for ur reason, I would say it is a genuine reason because u r supposed to mention it in the application form in the field where it asks u for ur jobseeker validation code.
I have a question as well, how did u get ur application back. I mean did u get it back by courier or regular mail?

Received it through courier at my home address which I mentioned in my application.

Could you possibly have a thread where people have reported such vague reasons ?

I am not aware of an actual thread for this, but have read some posts regarding it in the forum.
I would definitely suggest u to correct the mistakes and send them the application back asap. U hv 30 days to send them the application back.

Yup adding current pay slips and editing the document and sending back tomorrow itself. This is a snail process.

Some guy got his returned for not having a marriage certificate, even if it's not in the requirements at all...he was able to appeal.

Missing the Job Bank Validation Code is not bogus, as it's required for OINP to send the nomination to your EE profile. I guess you could argue they could have emailed you and requested for it there, but it's marked as required in the OINP form.

I got mine returned for missing a passport page, so the silliness was my fault.

Yes, it's correctable, they give you 30 days to resend the application if there were missing documents.

I've realized that the provinces seem to be a bit more lenient than CIC. They usually give you the opportunity to add missing/incomplete docs to your applicaiton.

It is not marked as mandatory. I filled in all the details that were mandatory and it came out fine. And how can we appeal ? Can you please explain since i have not got the AOR ?
