Hi all,
I have received my provincial nominee certificate and I am about to file for my PR status. I am planing to get married in the mean time, my spouse is not in Canada she is in Pakistan. Is it possible that I can add my spouse to my PR application file ? If so, how can I do that plus I don't want to screw up my process by adding her in the file like don't me wrong but immigration could judge me suspicions how come I am suddenly married and adding someone to my PR file. Is it bad idea? or should I wait to get my own PR status approved first and then file her on Sponsor category but that will take a long time isn't it ?
please share your experience or good suggestions.

Regards,
Hamid Hemani

It takes a long time to sponsor a spouse in Pakistan so I think you are better off doing it now.

You should talk to AINP before you get married and ask if you need to ask for a PNP nomination for your wife if you get married now. If they say yes, you will first have to add her by them.

If they say no, you can go ahead and get married and then apply for PR for you both.
