you would only be called in for an interview if you don not show enough proof of your relationship being genuin? right?
so if you give enough/more than enough proof right away it should be okay?

I think you should get the CAIPS notes to see if they have decided to do the interview and if they have it should also say what is the reason for it.

Interviews are required if there are concerns regarding the relationship, in addition to concerns regarding the applicant's admissibility under other sections of IRPA and IRPR, for example, there could be security concerns.

Most Americans are not interviewed, interviews are the exception, not the norm.

CAIPS and GCMS are notes the immigration officer makes on your file, you have right to see that info. Just search online about it you will see there is lot of info out there.

Since the OP has not yet applied, there is no need for him to get into CAIPS/GCMS yet.

I think that goes without saying, my point is that is the only way to find out if and why the case has gone to interview...
