Hello Guys,

After submitting my eAPR i received 2 letters from CIC. 1st regarding Scheduled A and 2nd a detailed explanation for my mast 10 years activities.

I submitted both and 3 days later i got another request from CIC for RCMP criminal record check. Really worried that whats really going on? why is this new request from CIC? any idea guys?

and now as i have to submit the report has anyone did it recently? any suggestions from those who did it in Toronto?

Guys please suggest

Thanks in advance

Clearly your entire application set of some red flags in their system. They are just covering their bases. As long as you do not have any record or suspicious activity you should be good

Go to Commissionaires or FIPS to get it done. you will get the report in a week

OMG_Chakromakro got a request recently, PM him if you have specific questions.

This is not a big deal.

The reason applicants do not have to submit a PCC for Canada is that IRCC automatically conducts name-based criminal records checks for ALL applicants.

If the check comes back with a record, all that means is that someone with the same name as you has a criminal record. So now, the only way IRCC can determine whether that is you or not is to ask you to complete the fingerprint-based RCMP check.

It happens. It is an extra hoop for you to jump through, but it is not a big deal.

As for your schedule A, a lot of people get asked about that too. There is a gap in the timeline or some other inconsistency that needs to be explained.

No idea - as others said, it is because there is some other person with your name and similar characteristics who has a record so they want to be sure that isnt you etc. I know these suck but as long as they arent outright rejecting and instead asking for documentation it is good. Just call ahead at any of the two places before walking in

another quick question...i am living with at my friends place from last 1 year. I don't have my name in the current house agreement. also also never had my name on the agreements for my previous stays. so would that any issue? Because usually so far i get to live with friends how are already staying and had an agreement.
What you guys think?
