Hello Friends

I applied for my post graduate work permit (online) two week ago and in the same application i applied my wife's open work permit who is in Pakistan.

I am also working full-time at position which is included in NOC class A.

My PGWP got approved couple of days ago but they refused my wife's visa by putting two objections;

- You have not demonstrated that you come within the exceptions under section 186 of the regulations exempting you from the requirement to obtain a work permit or that your employment in Canada comes within the exceptions to section 203 of the regulations. As a result, your offer of employment must be the
subject of an economic effect determination before a work permit can be issued to you. Your employer in Canada should contact the local office of the Department of Human Resources and Skills Development
Canada to begin this process.

- You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada by the end of the period authorized for your stay. In reaching this decision, I considered several factors, including:

-your personal assets and financial status.

Please SUGGEST me that what should i do now??

Thank you.

hi,

This is to inform you that me Mr. Soumojit Mukhopadhyay have applied for the post graduate work-permit after 90 days of convocation as I didnot receive my degree from my university as I has an out standing fee. I received the degree after clearing my outstanding and applied for my post_graduation work permit on 12 Nov 2013. My visa was till 30th Nov 2013.
I received an appliucation from CIC stating that they wont be able to process my work permit as my application was received after 90 days after the completion of my masters as they have declared on the transcripts that the cource was over on June 7th. However, I received my degree later in October 2013 as I had to clear my outstandings.
I want to know what are the best options I can have to restore my status and re-apply for my post graduation work-permit.

First of all,

If your wife is in Pakistan then you can't apply together from Canada, you can apply together if your wife is already in Canada.

First your PGWP comes as you above mentioned then she can apply from the Home country.

She has to show the strong ties to the home country like her parents property.

Can you tell me how long you are working in NOC A category as first this was your's Part time and after that you have converted into Full time.

Can you explain me so that i can share my experience with you.

Regards
Rajan
