Hi,

I would like to call my parents from India to visit me to Canada. I am here on permanent visa however I am not a canadian citizen yet. My husband is canadian and he was born here. I have completed 2 yrs in Canada and haven't travelled out of the country except for one time for a week's vaccation to carribbean.

Can I still call my parents ?

What do you mean by call?

If you have full time employment, and meet the minimum income requirements, you can sponsor your parents.
If not, your husband/common-law can co-sign. regardless, it may take up to 5 years until your parents can immigrate here.

You can sponsor as a Pr.

If they are coming for a visit they must apply for a visitors visa submitt it and see if they are approved.Go on the Immigration Canada website and search under the visiting canada. It will there show you the requirements.
If you mean sponsor then look under the family sponsorship and there they will show you the requirements.
It really does not matter how long you are in canada or if your husband is a canadian they must still qualify for a visitors visa.

well i would only like to call them here to visit me for 2-3 months.

So i think it would be best if they come here on visitors visa.

and any idea how long it takes to get visitors visa ?

TRV processing depends on the Country you are applying from....the best place to find out will be to visit the CIC local country website
