I received my PR visa in Canada. it says i have to leave and re enter Country to get my landed paper work. i live in Africa it is to far to go back there expensive
Is it okay to go USA and re enter. but i do not have USA visa but my son is Canadian and he can drive me to the border.
will i get in problem or does anyone know what to tell them when we get there.

I believe you can 'land' at a local immigration office. You do not have to go back home, and I don't think you will be able to 'flagpole' at the USA border.

Someone here will tell you exactly what to do - just be patient and you will get your answer!

Congratulations on becoming a permanent resident of Canada - we are happy to have you!

You can "flagpole" even if you don't have a visa to enter the USA. You'd just drive down to the US border, and when you reach the US immigration tell them you don't want to enter the US, you just want to return back to Canada to become a permanent resident. They're used to that and know what to do.

Alternatively, call CIC and set up an appointment to land at your nearest inland CIC office.
