Hi there everyone, any help would be appreciated please. My situation is:I want to sponsor my parents and my brother which falls under depended children category (my wife will be the co-signer also)
Last year i worked from may to december and made around 27 000,but this year only worked january and some days february, so far very little and as we speak i am unemployed and but hopefully i will start soon.My concern is will i be qualified? (considering that my wife makes a fixed income of 38 000/year
Now do they take my wife income into account all of it ?even though i didnt make much?or what if my if my income stays low but i have a job at least will
my wife`s and my income combined be good enough? Thanks for you time folks,I`m really worried because my brother will turn 22 next year .I appreciate
any advise,By the way me and my wife went through Rome visa officce so feel free to ask

Do you and your wife have any children or other dependents? Assuming you don't, then you need to show sufficient income to support 5 people (the two of you, your parents and brother). Your wife's income will be combined with yours when calculating your income if she signs the paperwork as a joint sponsor.

At the present time, you need to show income of $46,850 to sponsor your parents and brother based on the LICO (low income cut off) table posted here:

thnx scylla, yeah i have a daughter myself she is 4and yes my wife will dign the letter. When you say i need to have 46 000 at the moment you mean at the bank at present?or what me and my wife made past 12 months combined, because i made 30 000 and she has a fixed income 40 000
So as long as i have the sufficient income required combined with my wife i should be ok?Also do i have to be working in order to start the Application?
Thanks again i appreciated it

If you have a daughter - then you need to show LICO for 6 people. This means you need to show income of $52,838.

You and your wife need to have made at least this amount of money in the last year working in order to sponsor (any money you have in the bank doesn't count). You must also continue to maintain this level of income every year for as long as the sponsorship of your parents and brother takes to be complete (i.e. 5+ years).
