Re-Entry In Canada (Toronto)

Hi ,

I have been married and staying in Toronto on tourist Visa for past 6 months (From 26th Feb 2018 to September, 2018) with my husband. My PR Outland Spousal Sponsorship is also under process. I have applied for extension of tourist Visa (but the application is under process).

In the mean while I came back to my country(India) for some urgent personal work. Now I am coming back to Toronto to celebrate Indian festivals with my husband and do some short time courses.

I want to know now on returning back to Toronto , at time of entry , will they create any issue? I would state my purpose of coming as visiting family. I would carry all the documents (1. Visitor extension 2. Letter from my husband 3. PR application document 4. Proof of marriage) Would I need any other document ?

Hi

You should be fine. Note that you will be processed as a new visitor upon entering Canada. The visitor extension app only applies if you remain in Canada.
