What is your current status in Canada?

If you are from a visa exempted country for Canada then you can again visit. Otherwise you need to get another visitor visa (TRV).
However, your period of stay in Canada will be decided at the POE.

It does not sound as if you are seeking to come 'stay' as in a visit with your wife, but wish to remain permanently in Canada. In this case you need to apply for permanent residency. You submit your application and your wife would be your sponsor. Submit your application from the UK. Your wife submits her sponsorship application from Canada. There are changes in the works related to spousal applications and requirements to be met so you would do well to read about this process or seek advice. If you wish to return to Canada during the application process you will need to satisfy the officer you see at the port of entry that you are a genuine visitor and will leave at the end of the period for your visit if you are not granted permanent residence by that time. You also may not work without authorization until you become a permanent resident so will need to be sure you have evidence that you can support yourself or will be supported or you could be found inadmissible to Canada for financial reasons.
