I applied TRV outside canada in the month of june and till now haven't received any response from ircc and so is it advisable to re apply trv without withdrawing the old one

As while applying for the question current country of residence i wrote india instead of canada and so i was planning to reapply by writing current country of residence as canada instead india

Will it impact the decision or what should i for to the old application

Please advise

Why would you reapply? Processing from India is about 158 days so you may be within normal processing times. Wait for a response. And if you reapply your start from the beginning. What is your status in Canada?

I have a valid post graduate work permit which will expire in oct 2023 and i haven't filed for PR yet i was thinking to reapply because i got to know that if applied within Canada then wait time is around 24-30 days so i can get the results asap

So you have received ITA and haven’t applied for PR in hopes that you get TRV? Again why reapply for TRV and start the TRV process over again. When in June did you apply. Processing is 5-6 months for TRV so you should get a response soon.
