Hello,

In my scenario, my PGWP expires on July 7 2014. My PR application is already under processing under provincial nomination. However, I may get a good job offer in a different province soon. I have worked for almost 2 years in the NOC 2171 and meet the rest of the qualifying creteria for CEC. If I change my job now and re-apply under CEC, say by end of June
is that a risk? It takes 13 months, but there is also an option to extend the work permit by a year, correct?

I already have the IELTS (Dec 2012) and applied for a PCC.

Any advice is much appreciated.

Thanks!

Once you choose to relocate to different provience the pnp will be rejected ,,, as you have your pgwp valid till 2014 and you already have the enough work experience...,, do some research about cec and find out what documents you need for applying... before making any decesion and btw it's not a risk to apply for cec .....and it's up to your decision how good the new job is.. (Company & pay)

If you choose to relocate to different provience and applying for Cec...you even have a option to extent your stay by applying BOWP once you get the AOR

You can apply for the PNP and CEC at the same time - you are allowed to have different PR applications in process at the same time under different classes. You can go ahead and apply for the CEC class now (before the PNP application is withdrawn) assuming you meet the eligibility requirements.
