My wife first came to canada in 07 with Working permit, and had MSP.
Her permit expired last July(no more MSP), and now she is on temp vistor status, living with me.
When she gets PR, and applys for MSP, will she still have to wait 2 months+ before she can get coverage?
She has never left canada for more than 30 days since 07
I'm wondering if they'll still consider her as new comer
I'm hoping they can just re activate her MSP, with no wait time....

No....she just needs to send a copy of her COPR paper, proof of permanent address, passport and most importantly the bank paper so they can deduct the monthly premiums from her account ;D

They usually take about 1 month to reinstate the medicare (that's because they need the money first LOL)
