Hi,

I am wondering for the caregiver pilot program, how to determine the lock-in age? For example, the applicant has submitted the application but do not have 2-years qualified experience as a caregiver in Canada. Then she obtains the work permit and works for 2 years.

In this case, when should her child's age be locked? The time that CIC received the application before she obtains the work permit or the time the applicant completes two years of work?

Thank you!

Age is locked in at the time the PR application is received by IRCC. Of course the application has to be accepted (and not returned).

So even the applicant does not have 2 years of qualified experience, the application should still be considered as a complete submission. Am I right?

Sorry - I don't know.
