RCMP CRIMINAL RECORD CHECK DOUBT

Hi
I got a request to submit RCMP criminal record certificate but going through the forum I find people going through fingerprint based certificates from a third party. My qiestion is that I wasnt asked for fingerprint based rcmp certificate. It just says a criminal record check. So can I just walk into a police services centre and do name based search? Or does everyone need to get the fingerprints done?

The digit fingerprint option is better and you could get the results mailed to you in a week.

You need not go via agent.I would suggest you to go to commissionaires depending on the province you live in, Hope this helps
