Hey, i live and work in Canada while she lives in Egypt and never has been to Canada.
After I applied, IRCC requested RCMP fingerprints for my wife (she hasnt even applied to for a visa by that time) and I wrote a letter to the IRCC with a copy of her passport declaring that she has never been to Canada and requesting excemption from that stage.
Since then it has been more than 3 months and the status is “reviewing your additional documents”!
And the Background check is “We are processing your background check”
They didnt reply, can this mean that they left the application aside? Or paused it?
