Yes, not good. After waiting 14months for NOD. So devastating waiting so long in pains
The hearing went well,took 3hrs and no arguments back and forth. It was smooth. I was told in June that the member went on sick leave,the date on the decision date was 29th Sept. She said credibility.
did they have any findings or they said you are not credible during the hearing? wondering if you were not credible during the hearing so how come your NOD took 14 months to decide?
The post indicated that the member went on medical leave so that was likely one of the reasons for the delay although there could have been other factors. This is an unfortunate situation. There should be more information about what was the main concern.
exactly my point either as per OP they applauded after hearing etc and he was confident the lawyer was confident so in that case, it won't took 14 months to send a decision there must be some findings or something which they found and decide or who knows they send evidences for verification then decide everything. it is really unfortunate that hearing after 26 months then 14 months delay for NOD and it is neg
Some members have a positive disposition. It is very hard to interpret outcomes just by the reaction of the member unless they clearly indicate that they have approved the file. For example wishing someone and their family members well could be misinterpreted as wishing them well in their future in Canada. Some members seem very cold and direct and applicants think they have been denied but then are approved.
