Quick question I would really appreciate to be answered

Ok. I am an Irish student, who has applied for my work Visa. I am at the 2nd stage in the process and have paid my fee. The problem is that my free training for my job in Ottawa was pushed back by a couple of weeks so I have had to fly over earlier then expected, I am now due to recieve my letter of acceptance by email the week after I go through passport control In Canada. Do you need to go through Canadas immigration borders to receive your official work visa or is there another way to get it while you are in Canada already...

You will have to leave and re-enter to activate your work permit through one of the border points.
