I have a quick question. I got my Canadian PR card 3 years back. Card will expire in Mar 2020. I have not stayed in Canada after getting the card to take care of mandatory 2yrs PR status. I want to move to Canada now. Would it cause any issues as i have less than 2 years on my PR card? Also, my wife and kids their PR card expires in mar 2019.

Will we have any issues at port of entry or after we have entered country? Can we travel with country?

Please advise

You don't have much choices when it comes to take risk in order to maintain your PRO. Yes, you and family can travel to Canada.

So, would that be an issue at Port of Entry or after we get into the country?

It would be an issue at the port of entry. If CBSA notices you don't meet the RO, they can report you and start process to terminate your PR status.

This may or may not happen, only way to know for sure is to try and enter Canada and see what happens.

Even if reported you can stay in Canada to appeal the decision if you want, but may end up losing your PR status anyways at appeal date later on.
