Hi, am in the US now
I just applied for assylum here in the US but found out it's going to take long before I can start working here to take care of my family
Moreover, here in the US, if you entered after the 16th of July, your not eligible for assylum. And I happened to enter after

Since you’ve claimed asylum in the US you are not eligible for asylum in Canada. Recent changes to the law have closed that route for asylum seeker.

There is a new rule that says if you applied for asylum in the US you are no longer eligible to apply for Canadian asylum. You must continue with your US case.
