1. Should I (the sponsor) make a photocopy of marriage certificate or give the actual document?
2. How soon should my wife (the principle applicant) send out the finger prints to get her police certificates?
3. Do I (the sponsor) need to make photocopies of all the pages of my passport from beginning to end?
4. Are documents that are photocopied, be centered of the page or top right/left corners okay?

1. Follow your country-specific requirements.

2. Right away.

3. No.

4. Doesn't matter.

Okay so Im sponsoring my american wife as a canadian, there are no country specific requirements but it does say to include a marriage certificate. so i was just wondering if it was the copy or actual.

And if she sends out for her finger prints, should I be worried about her police certificate expiring or something when it arrives?

Copy is OK.

Police cert valid for a year - the process will v likely be over by then. Balance of risk is a delay waiting for police cert atm.

You don't need to photocopy every page of the sponsors passport. This is copied directly from the Document Checklist:
"Canadian passport (page showing passport number, date of issue and expiration, photo, name, surname, place and
date of birth)"

The position of the photocopied document doesn't really matter. Just make sure everything in the original document appears on the photocopy (i.e. nothing is cut off), and that the photocopy is good quality so the immigration officer can easily read it.
