do I still need to show funds ,if my maternal uncle gives an undertaking that we will stay with him and he will be responsible for the expenses incurred till I get a job.
can I make a visit to canada alone after getting PR visa?

You still need to show funds unless you have an arranged job offer.

Once you have your PR visa and go to Canada, you land in Canada as a PR. This is the day you become PR. The primary applicant may land before the other ones or at the same time. If you are the primary applicant, you can go to Canada first and let your family come later.
