Hi friends. I have a few question about this subject and i'd be happy to hear your answers.
i'm 22, lives in israel. i want to learn at Memorial University in St. johns.

1. I heard that sometimes canada refuses to let in some students, with the explanation that they coul'd have learn the degree in their own countries. is it enough to take a degree that is not offered here in israel, or is there always a chance that they'll refuse to let me in?

2. In the hope of graduating and getting the work permit, am i obligated to work at my field of study, or is it a free permit and i can work even as a waiter or any other job?

Thank you!

1. There is always some chance the study permit will be refused - even if you are planning on taking a degree that's not available in your home country.
2. No - you are not obligated to work in your field of study.
