questions regarding sponsorship application docs requirements

hello folks,

I am trying to confirm regarding the FBI clearance report requirement . I am working on collecting sponsorship application forms to sponsor my Wife. I have the canada PR since last 2 years but I just recently moved to canada from USA. now when I submit my sponsorship application form do I also need to submit FBI report for myself ? or is it just the fbi report of my wife I need to submit?

One more question is the FBI report valid for 90 days or 180 days? Pls let me know. I really would appreciate your reply back. Thank you!

The FBI and other police certificates are required for your wife, not you as the sponsor.

Police certificates are valid for a year, provided that they were not issued more than 3 months before the application is submitted to CPC-M.
