Questions regarding Flagpoling

Hello all,
I’m going to complete my study end of this month.
I have valid visitor visa of US and I wanted to do flagpole and get my PGWP from border.

My question is , as I have valid visitor visa of US so do I need administrative refusal from US side or can I directly let the CBSA officer know that I’m here for my PGWP after visiting US for couple of hours ?

You can do either go for an admin refusal which has no impact to future entries to the US or as you have a US visa enter the US and return later.

Be aware that at some Ontario/US land borders they may still not be processing any flagpole applications other than Tuesday through Thursday, this may include people doing very short US visits as well. The Ontario/US border is the only one reported on this forum as having this restriction as far as I know.
