Questions regarding coming to Canada for medical treatment

My mother and I are looking to getting a tourist or temporary resident visa to Canada to seek medical treatment.

We don't have any life threatening or any expensive conditions that would require out of pocket payment. We just have simple dental, joint, and problems relating to that nature that we'd like to get evaluated on and hopefully receive treatment for.

The reason we wish to travel to Canada is because the healthcare costs for even the simplest of check ups in America are outrageously expensive.

My question is what can we expect when it comes to seeking simple medical treatment in Canada? What are the prices/fees for tourists/temporary residents? Which provinces would be good for seeking treatment?

This is of course assuming we pass all the necessary requirements to successfully enter into Canada legally.

As tourists in Canada, you won't benefit from any coverage and will have to pay full price for all of the treatment you receive. There's no difference between provinces. You'll have to pay out of pocket regardless of where you go. The prices probably won't be much different than in the US.
