Hi I'm Eric

I'm applying for a student visa (diploma) coop-program for a year and four months.
I'm having a big problem. First of all, I visited Canada in 2019 for that reason I had taken the biometrics. I have a visitor visa. However, I checked this website https://onlineservices-servicesenligne.cic.gc.ca/extapp/bioStatusQuery and it says that they do not have my biometrics. I was shocked that my application wasn't on my CIC profile. What could have happened? I did not anything wrong during my stay. And If I did (I DID NOT), I wasn't notified. Is my UCI number no longer valid?
Second, I have a question, because the Intake starts in September and I haven't finished submitting the application yet. Would I be able to wait for my visa approval or Should I change the Intake date to November? I'll have 30 days only to have everything done.
Third, I have a question with the proof of funds. My grandfather and my mum have a bank account. I'm going to present their bank account as a proof of funds. What documents should I submit? an authorization and a 6 months bank statement? Both are retirees. Should I present something to prove that are retirees ?
Finally, Should I submit a letter expressing my interest and why I decided to study a diploma?? I have a Master's degree in International Business. Could that be a problem?

Thanks in advance

  • Make sure to enter UCI without dashes and spaces.. all 8 digits together.
  • You already have a Masters degree but you are opting for Diploma in Canada which is a problem. It doesn't show that the education is progressing forward but instead backtracking to diploma after completing Masters.
  • You will have to figure this education & course first before worrying about statements and other financial situation. You will also have to prove your ties to your home country as well, like job, property or investments.

I'm 100% sure that I put the number right I wrote the number a lot of times.
Is there anyway they could allow me to do this diploma? Maybe If write them a letter expressing I want to have experience in the field that I studied because I don't have any experience in my field and a coop-program will allow me to have the required experience. Besides, the course is dictated in English and being proficient in the language is a must in the profession.
Can be my car a proof that I'm tided to my country?

No. You need to find something related to masters or post graduate certificate instead of diploma and convince Visa officers with strong SOP that why you need that education. Getting in to co-op program will not help, it doesn't show your intent to study but instead getting in to job here in Canada to get experience for PR application. Also proficiency in English is not going to be enough reason. You can easily get IELTS or English language classes in your country to improve it.

Car is not asset and can be sold at anytime. Fixed investment in bank or student loan from bank or property in your name is something else, that can't be liquidated easily.

What would happen If I didn't mention that I have a Master's Degree?

What would happen If I were working and I submitted a letter of the company saying that they would be happy to have me back when I finish my tuition? Also, saying that they would use the skills I learned.
