Questions...Please help Spon. approved since Aug 22, still nothing.

Hello,

I was approved since Aug 22nd for sponsorship but we have heard nothing since the initial letter from Canada Immigration notifying me of my obligations and stating the applicant portion of the application has now been forwarded to Bogota.

Its now 2.5 months later and we have heard nothing,

Now i know bogota is the worst office, but do these 2.5 months count towards the say 8-14 months for most cases in bogota? Or does the time only start once e-cas shows the applicant or sponsor as 'in processing'?
