I submitted my paper based PNP application to cic on 3, Feb and haven't received FN yet.
Today I got ee invitation.
When I filled the ee online form, there is a question
"Has XXX applied for Permanent Residence (PR) before?"
I should select 'yes' right?

And next question is 'Please provide the Permanent Residence (PR) file number'
but I haven't received my FN yet. So what should I put here?
Anyone who has the same experience?

Thank you for advice.

Hello,

Question 1 - The answer is YES

Question 2 - Try calling CIC to see if you can get the application number, if nothing, put down your UCI number. Please confirm with an IRCC agent.

Thank you dear
it's only four weeks since cic received my application and i think fn is not assigned.

Can I put the XEP****** number there where I got after I linked my paper based application to cic account

if you search the forum there are plenty of similar posts.

The common agreement last time i saw it discussed was: you can have two, but because it makes no sense, then it is makes sense to withdrew paper based, and file the e-APR.

However, here is different opinion that 2 applications can go concurrently: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/could-i-apply-for-pr-under-both-express-entry-and-pnp-at-the-same-time-t328294.0.html

All the best!

I asked some consultants and they said i can have both at the same time. not quite sure about this.
maybe i could submit ee first and see what's next
now i got stuck with the question to ask me provide FN of the paper based application because i haven't got AOR yet.
so should i leave it blank or fill N/A or XEP***** number shows in my cic account?
Thank you

Hey buddy, Did you link your paper application to CIC account. If Yes, there would be XEP number, which eventually will be your file number once CIC finds all your documents complete. But please try to confirm it with CIC. And just a random question: did you make second CIC account to submit EE profile (In case you linked your paper application in first CIC account)?

1) yes i have a number xep****** and that is the only one i could mention in the form i think.
2) i use one cic account for all my applications. i think it is not necessary to create a second one.
for your reference
