Hello, I Just recently married to my Canadian husband after 6 years of long distance relationship... I just have a question to ask my fellow filipinas who got married to a canadian. What papers should be processed after marriage? I mean, I only got the copy of our marriage certificate, I'm still waiting for the NSO copy but should I go to any government agency for change of status & name?

In one post here, I read that I shouldn't change my passport yet...when should this be done? and I'm wondering if I should process the change of status for my driver's license, sss, pag-ibig etc.. etc..

any info will help...

Thank you so much

Hi...If you're gonna renew your passport for the change of married name you need to attend the seminar at CFO. The certificate that they will give you is a requirement in DFA. Goodluck!!!
