Hi all,

I have a few questions about the application for the work permit that I really hope you can help me with!

1) I'm not sure about the difference between the 'Employment Reference Letter', 'Employment Records', and 'Letter from Current Employer'. To me it seems that the Employment Reference Letter is the 'basis' document, but different attachments should be added (business card of person signing or pay stubs). Is this correct or am I misunderstanding something?

2) I don't want to use a family member as a representative, but according to the document checklist the 'Use of a Family Member Representative for Online Applications' is a required document. Should I fill this in? I am taking my common-law partner to Canada.

3) Do I have to print and sign any of the documents? I can see that if the document only requires my signature, I will authorise it via the system, but how about the documents that my partner is filling out?

4) As a citizen from the Netherlands, do I have to fill in the 'Temporary Resident Visa' form? Can someone explain me what this is for?

5) Do we have to provide 'proofs' of our relationship or property in addition to the Common-Law Declaration form?
