7. Education

My husband, the principal applicant, dropped out of high school, got his GED and did some college. There is no option in the section to include the GED. Is it necessary to add a separate piece of paper to note this?

And, 8. Personal History

All his life, he was self-employed, doing painting/woodworking/assembling/general carpentry because his father has his own company. However, he was NEVER certified, and he NEVER did taxes. Can I write about his work experience, or will the fact of him being uncertified and never doing taxes cause problems with CIC?

Thank you!

List his work experience. Being uncertified won't matter - no need to mention it. No taxes I doubt will be a problem. But if you don't put anything for his work history, CIC will want to know what he was doing instead (unless he's quite young).
