Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Have just been married to my sweetheart. We're submitting application under the spousal, outland option within the next few weeks(just waiting on some info to show up) and was wondering if would be advisable for my wife to come visit in December for a bit?

As long as she has a visa(unless she doesn't need it to come into Canada) she will be fine. It won't interfere with the Application. :) Good luck!

If your wife is the sponsor and is not a Canadian Citizen (she is Permanent Resident), then she must not leave Canada while your application is being processed.
If she's the applicant, or is a Canadian Citizen sponsor, then there's no problem.

Hope this helps!

I believe it depends on if she is the applicant or the sponsor and you haven't said which she is.

Yes I am the sponsor/husband/canadian citizen and she is the wife/applicant...thx soo much for the advice!!

If you guys are applying Outland, she may come to Canada anytime as long as she has a visa (in case she needs one.) :)

If the applicant comes to Canada to visit the sponsor, this is good evidence of a genuine relationship. Keep all evidence of the trip and take lots of photos. She can show this evidence at the interview, if necessary.

Now what about her "extending" her stay here while waiting for approval of the application? Does she have to have "something" to go back to?(i.e job, mortgage etc.) Can she apply for an extension to her visitors permit if the 6 months are up?

Here's another question!? How do I record or reproduce text messages between my spouse and I from my phone? Is there a record I can request thru my phone company?

She can visit you while the application is in process outland. I have done so three times already with my application in process. The visa officer would probably ask a ton of questions. She must have a return ticket to show she is gonna return, even if she is not planning too. Then you must extend her visa when it is closing in 6 months. Thats how i understand it.

not that i know of.

Regarding text, it depends on your phone if it came with a software may be you can download them and then print them. With a smartphone you can probably email them to yourself may be. I don't think you can get them from your phone company because I doubt that they are saved on their server...someoneelse might have a better idea...

Thank you soo much for the info...did some digging and I found out that txt messages can be printed off from the phone company(at least mine anyways - Telus) however they only go back 3 months, and there in no actual information other than the number that the text was sent to.
