I know lots of things have changed these past few years so I gotta ask.. :)
I am on a work permit in Canada for 4 years already.
I am waiting to get my pr by May 1st the latest (express entry 6 months point)

My question is.. I know that my time here used to be counted for citizenship (2 days = 1) ... But what are the rules now?

Do I get any credit for my 4 years here as a temp resident?

No - under the new rules you don't get any credit for days spent in Canada before you became a PR.

Under the old rules you could get credit for two years pre-PR each day was credit as half a day for citizenship purposes.

Damn.. I hope JT will change that.. :P

Thanks for the quick reply
