So CIC grants extra points for: Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees. One must be for a program of three or more years.
I have a 4 year Bachelor of Business Admin from a recognized Canadian Institution. I am also pursuing the Canadian CA (issued by Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario). Here is the tricky part: this CA requires passing of 3 exams and also requires qualifying work experience of 30 months/2.5 years. I have already completed all the exam requirements and I am a little over 1 year through my experience requirement.
So would this qualify as my second post-secondary certificate? I have not received any 'certificate' from CPAO (the institution that governs all CAs in Ontario), but I can receive a Letter of Good Standing from the institution which will confirm that I have completed all the exams and I am in good standing.
I have set up EE profile under NOC 1111 and I am currently at 391 points (110 for age + 120 for education + 136 for English + 25 from Skill transferability).
Any help will be appreciated!
