Question regarding sibling name change

Hi,

I am planning to change my legal name(add last name) and later update IRCC about name change. My brother has applied his PR and will get the sibling points as I am PR, and he provided my existing documents for sibling points. His file is currently in process.

Does he need to submit document proofs again for sibling relationship, my proof of status etc after my name changes? And does it affect the processing times?

Can you please advise?
