I applied for a work permit extension, but the consultant messed up and applied for the wrong type and the application was rejected due to failure of meeting eligibility requirements.
The letter advised that my temporary resident status expired on the day of rejection and that I have 90 days to apply for restoration.
I'm trying to fill out form 5078e to restore as visitor but what I fill for question 7? The guide suggests selecting Foreign Nation if you're out of status, and since my status expired on day of rejection, this should be what I need to select.
However, I don't see much info anywhere to confirm if this is the right choice.
Any help would be great!
