Question regarding passport.

We are June applicants 2020. Received AOR December 4th. Nothing since. My wifes passport expires December 2021. What would be the steps if not completed before expires?

She gets a new passport and you advise them of new one. They usually request passport have six month at least remaining validity.

If possible would be best to get a new one earlier, ie apply now.

Of course. But threads here about people who get their ppr request at a problematic time or they are travelling or their mother died or covid happened and new passports now take longer or or or or or... Happens all the time.

I think you get my point. You will likely not get a passport request in the next two months. Your spouse will need a new passport in six months. Save yourselves hassle and do it now.
