I was reading this Determine your eligibility-Canadian Experience Class link, and a part of the requirement is :

"You must have at least 12 months of full-time, or an equal amount in part-time, skilled work experience. Full-time work means at least 30 hours of paid work per week."

From the above statement, 12 months (i.e. 52 weeks) at 30 hrs/week would be a total of 1560 hrs in 12 months

Suppose I was living and working full time in Canada for 10.5 months (i.e. 42 weeks) at 56 hrs/week (i.e. a total of 2352 hrs) would be able to claim that I (more than) did the equivalent of a 12 months full-time work in Canada and as such I would be eligible to apply for PR under Canadian Experience Class?

Unfortunately, you are not eligible.... at least 12 months is required. Have you looked at some of the provincial nominee programs whether you qualify?

You will not eligible to apply under CEC. You need to work for atleast 12 months of full-time work experience to apply under this category.

I have been looking, so far I don't see how I would aualify for any of the PNP programs. I will take a further look though.

Also take a look at the Federal Skilled Worker program(re-opens in May 2013) or the Quebec Skilled Worker Program.

I think to qualify for the the CEC or the FSW I would need some additional points, I could probably get those points if I decided to go learn French and then do the exam and get a "moderate" grade in French.
