Hi all,

I graduated last semester and my PGWP is currently processing, I'm very hopeful that it will get approved but in the off-chance it doesn't what are my options to remain in Canada?

Should I apply for a post graduate to get the offer letter and apply for a study permit extension now? (My study permit is valid until the 31st of March.
Or can I wait until I find out the results of my PGWP application and then apply for a study permit/permit extension?

Thanks.

Is there a reason you fear that PGWP will be refused?

I had to take 1 semester part time due to changing programs from co-op to non-co-op.

Outside of that and my final semester I have been constantly studying as a full-time student. I know that the chances of it getting rejected are unlikely but I'd like to have a back-up plan just to be on the safer side.
