Question reg. proof of funds..seniors, please reply...

Hi,
I went through the link:

I am single. My mother passed away about 8 years ago. I have my father and my sister in my family. My sister is married.

Now how much should I show in the proof of funds (the min. amount of funds to satisfy the requirement) ? None of my family is accompanying me to Canada. I am planning to show 14,000 CAD.

Please give your suggestions. Thanks a lot.

I am not sure what you are asking. Your father and sister doesn't count as family members for canadian immigration, besides you don't intend to take them anyway. So look at the table for one person and it says 10833, so showing 14000 cad is more than enough.
