Question on work permit extension

I am on a dependent visa and my work permit got extended till 30-march 2021 but my visa is stamped till 07-sept 2020. I didn't get my passport stamped again as I knew i wouldn't be travelling outside but it seems I need to provide a passport copy with visa pages for my next extension. Do I need to get my visa stamped to reflect the new work permit extended date before I apply for the extension ? Or can I just provide the work permit(March 2021 validity) and the passport with stamping(Sept 2020 validity)?

By "do I need to get my passport stamped again" are you asking if you need a new TRV (temporary resident visa)?

No, not if you don't leave Canada.

Thank you so much. I am in Canada and and I will not travel for sometime . yes, I was asking if I need a new TRV ? the earlier stamping of visa on my passport was valid till 07-sept 2020 but I got my work permit extended till March-2021.
