Question on Birth Certificate

Hi Friends

I was going through the PR checklist , and one of the section, it requires birth certificate to be submitted , I don't have any birth certificate for myself,

is there any alternative document which can work ,Please suggest.

Because Im sponsoring my husband and He is the one that has to provide birth certificate and other ID documents. I as a Canadian citizen all what Ive provided Cic is copy of Canadian passport and certificate of canadian citizen ship ..but either one is fine.
