For advertising of the job, do you actually have to interview applicants? or you can just ignore all the resumes and claiming no qualified applicant is found?

Anyone has experience of an audit of the LMIA? Will a Service Canada investigator ask for proof of interviews?

Of course I know what happen if an employer is deemed noncompliance, that's why I asked whether they will audit that in particular.

they can audit anything they chose should there be any doubt the process has not been followed or biased towards a single candidate. Whether they ever would given the number of applications is an unknown and doubtful an employer would come on this forum to admit an audit has taken place but who knows.

Somebody might comment who knows.
