Question for flagpoling to extend my stay as student

My study permit is going to expire at the end of this month and in this case, can I go to the border to extend my stay directly instead of applying online? If so, do I still need to submit my online application and bring copies of documents to the border office with me? Also, am I qualified as Implied Status as students?

Hi,
Technically you can flagpole but not sure if you are successful since it is very risky and the officers don't generally like flagpoling and impose unknown rules on time and quote each day.
I don't think you need online application once flagpoling.
No, as a student while studying you need to keep your status and register full time.
